About us
"When people arrive to the trailhead we want them to write their own prescription"
-Tony Boone
Our Story
My trail journey started when I saw an opportunity to participate in a Trail Management and Construction Program led by a trail building legend, Tony Boone, at Trinidad State College in Trinidad, Colorado. I jumped at the opportunity to learn about trails and pursue a career in the outdoor industry. My dream had always been to serve my community meaningfully, primarily focused on improving the overall health of my community. What better way to do that than to build sustainable trails where people can experience nature and stay healthy through an active lifestyle? Fast forward to the present day, and I am doing just that, working with companies whose clients range from private to government agencies who believe that sustainable trails and active lifestyles can improve the health of their communities, too.

Mentorships
Throughout my trail career I could not have made it to where I am at without the guidance of my mentors.
Tony Boone was my instructor at TSC where he built my foundation for planning, designing, and constructing trails. A guru and a master of his craft, his expertise is unmatched and I am forever grateful for his guidance. Through this foundation I was able to apply my knowledge to the real world and continued my experiential education with Timberline TrailCraft. Check out Tony at tonyboonetrails.com.
William “Cuatro” Huntley IV was my mentor alongside Tony at Timberline TrailCraft. He was the first project manager I worked under and he continued to hone my skills a trailbuilder and machine operator. His experience shows through his priceless insight to all the details of planning a trail to construction. He has saved me years of trial and error through his guidance. Thank you Cuatro!
